Lab Introduction
The Ubiquitous Awareness and Intelligent Solutions Lab (UAIS) was established in January 2009,at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Lanzhou University. It mainly focuses on the research in pervasive computing, affective learning, semantic web and ontology. The lab encourages multidisciplinary cooperation among its researchers with background of computer science, medicine, maths and signal processing. Now the research team of UAIS includes a rofessor, an associate professor, five lecturers and PhD and Master students. UAIS has undertaken research projects sponsored by the National Science Foundation China, European Framework Programme and “985” and “211” projects of Lanzhou University. UAIS has also established strong connections with research institutes at home and abroad as well as engineering companies to facilitate research as well as training.
